Emma McCutcheon

Emma is Adderstone Group’s Interior Architect, joining the Group’s Development Division in April 2019.

Emma is a qualified Interior Architecture professional, having graduated from Northumbria University in 2018 and has since been working towards increasing her knowledge and skill set in developmental architecture.

Whilst studying for her university degree Emma developed a strong appreciation and passion for designing and completing contemporary structural fit-outs within historic buildings such as Seaton Delaval Hall’s stables and coach room, which were designed to be transformed into an indoor/outdoor coffeehouse dispensary and entrance information point for the whole site, together with the more urban location of 8 Mosley Street in Newcastle city centre, where she worked on a multi-functional fit-out that incorporated both a photography studio and learning environment.

In her role with Adderstone Group, Emma has become an integral part of the Development Division, working within the architects’ team providing support to commercial tenants, working with them on delivering bespoke office and commercial layouts. She undertakes a thorough approach to all stages of the designing process to ensure understanding of the existing building, the tenants’ specific requirements and to establish that the structural fit-outs which are proposed work with the confines of the original structure.
