Adderstone Group, has welcomed seven new appointments across its Estates and Projects divisions following a period of sustained growth.
The new arrivals have amassed more than 100 years of experience in the property sector in senior project, estate and construction management roles, and have joined the team to support the development and management of Adderstone Group’s expanding estate which stands at almost 2 million sq. ft.

Joining the Estates team are Mel Brown, Principal Surveyor, who arrives from Capita, Sarah Newton, Senior Surveyor, who joins from LSH, Tina Rose, Property Accountant from Knight Frank and Rob O’Brien, Commercial Surveyor, who makes the move from Adderstone Group’s residential lettings business, Exchange Residential.
Over the past 18 – 24 months, Adderstone Group’s commercial property portfolio has grown by over 1 million sq. ft with acquisitions including The Rivergreen Centre in Durham, home of Atom Bank, Gainsborough House on Grey Street, The Fleming, Adderstone Group’s new HQ, situated in Jesmond, Broadgates Retail Park in Hexham and Toll Bar Road retail park in Sunderland. The team manages over 100 commercial tenants at properties across the North East and London.
Joining the Projects division are Keith Irving, formerly Construction Director at Metnor, Allan Richardson, previously Project Manager at Northern Bear, and Tom Barrass, previously Contracts Manager of Jomast Developments. All join the business as Project Managers to deliver the Group’s Eastgate development, a 40,000 sq. ft Grade A office scheme on Manors business park, Hanover Point luxury Quayside apartment scheme and Pipewell Quay, a 30,000 sq. ft Grade A Quayside office development respectively.

Over the next 12-18 months, in addition to the developments above, Adderstone Group’s Projects division will also complete the 100,000 sq. ft logistics, warehouse and office scheme, Baker’s Yard in Gosforth and Tyne Bridge House, a 5,268 sq. ft office scheme on the edge of the iconic Tyne Bridge, delivering in excess of £50m worth of developments in total.
