Adderstone Group's dedicated construction and facilities management company, Taemar Ltd, have secured accreditation from Constructionline, the UK’s leading procurement and supply chain management service.
The team at Taemar Ltd work constantly to maintain a trustworthy reputation and have been working towards Constructionline accreditation for a number of months. After vigorous assessment of company information and industry references, we’re delighted that the accreditation has been awarded.
Constructionline assesses and monitors its suppliers to governmental standards. Company information is measured through a question set that is aligned to PAS 91.
This standardised pre-qualification questionnaire developed by the British Standards Institute (BSI) improves the supply chain management processes by reducing risk, creating cost efficiencies and helping buyers engage with new suppliers, including SMEs and local companies.
As one of the North East’s fastest growing construction companies, the award means that Taemar Ltd is identified as a trusted supplier and one that is always striving to improve. It is also one of the main requirements for companies bidding for both public and private sector contracts across various construction sectors and having this accreditation will enable the business to approach a broader range of work opportunities going forward.
Customers can be assured that all the proper practises and procedures are put in place and every aspect of the company is audited at all levels, giving new customers confidence in the business.
As well as offering assurance to customers, being a member of Constructionline gives customers easy access to company information, speeding up the tender process and saving a significant amount of time, which can be used to further improve the service offered to customers.
Kevin Patrick, MD of Taemar Ltd said: “We’ve worked hard to secure this accreditation. The certificate of membership ensures our customers can be confident in the quality of product and service we supply.
“This accreditation is very much a team effort to ensure we consistently reach the highest standards possible and is a great example of how we aspire to be the best in industry.”
The Constructionline accreditation comes on the back of sustained period of growth for Taemar Limited. The company has recently moved into new offices in Ouseburn, Newcastle upon Tyne, appointed five new office staff in key roles including office management, quantity surveying and finance and recently embarked on a multi-million pound scheme to build a new ‘Lidl of the future’ concept store in Blyth.
