Adderstone Group's subsidiary construction business, Taemar Limited has been awarded an accreditation certificate by the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS). The scheme is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification and is required by many buyers from health trusts, emergency services, government departments as well as main contractors and larger organisations.
The nationally recognised scheme requires companies to demonstrate compliance with health and safety standards which must be passed on an annual basis. In passing the assessment, Taemar Limited demonstrated that they can appropriately manage health and safety to the required standards, providing evidence of specific risk assessments, health and safety training and supervision.
Commenting on the award, Taemar Managing Director, Rob Wilson said: “This accreditation confirms our commitment to the Health & Safety of our employees and of those working alongside us. We appreciate the need to provide a safe working environment through training, monitoring and auditing.
“We constantly strive to maintain the highest standards of Health and Safety and I am very pleased that this is recognised by our accreditation through the CHAS scheme.”
