This year’s students include 21-year-old Philippa Gray from Durham, studying Estate Management at Northumbria University. As a result this has helped me cement my knowledge and put into practice what I have been studying for the past two years.”
"I’ve already built a range of contacts and I am significantly improving my CV. I’m enjoying every second of it and I’m thoroughly looking forward to the rest of my placement at Adderstone Group.”
Allison Harrison, Group Operations Director at Adderstone Group has been thrilled with the impact the work placement scheme has had on the company. She said: “In the last eleven years that we have been recruiting, we have been able to work with a number of talented and passionate students. The scheme has been a success both for the students we recruit and for the vibrancy around the business, and consequently, we have expanded the number of work placement students to the largest ever this year.
“The students consistently bring fresh ideas and eagerness to the roles and, as a result, many have made a significant impression during their placements. The work they have done has been of great benefit to Adderstone Group, as well as to their career development and University studies.”
