Well-known staircase manufacturing business and Adderstone Group subsidiary, Hastie Burton Stairs has undergone a name change after launching a more diverse product line and seeing a boost in trade.
Hastie Burton Stairs will now trade as Gosforth Joinery in a move which will reflect more accurately the new joinery-based product lines offered on the premises.
Hastie Burton Stairs established itself as the largest staircase manufacturing business in the North of England, supplying in excess of 3,000 staircases a year directly to the public as well as to many of the UK’s largest house builders.
The creation of Gosforth Joinery will enable the business to continue this supply and to also promote the new product lines which have been introduced, including doors, frames and mouldings, large quantity orders of site furniture as well as more bespoke joinery projects.
The Gosforth Joinery rebrand has coincided with the introduction of a new Managing Director, Stan Hecks.
Stan said: “The launch of Gosforth Joinery has been the result of a sustained period of business development for us. We are confident that with the skill set and experience in the team, our staircase operation will always be sought after and we will continue to promote our strengths and services in this area. However, the rebrand has enabled us to give more focus to the joinery, craftsmanship and furniture offering that we have been providing to clients recently.
“We feel that the new name, Gosforth Joinery, will catch the imagination and will be a great springboard from which to promote the new products. With our new CNC capabilities, we have one of the most sophisticated joinery workshops in the UK. It makes sense for us to offer a more diverse product range. We are supplying staircase to London and other regions and yet local developers and businesses aren’t fully aware of our new facilities in the former Greggs bakery buildings on Gosforth Industrial Estate.
"We’re in the process of informing all of our current customers about the new product lines and opportunities that these bring with them.”
