Main Responsibilities/Duties Include:


Working as an integral part of the Adderstone Projects team, you will use your valuable administrative skillset - gained through practical experience and knowledge, supporting a number of services including, Employee Services & Payroll, Commercial, Project Management, Training and Document Control. Your role will sit within the administrative function of the business, where you will support the Projects Team, including the Director and other team members as appropriate.


To develop skills, knowledge and experience to enable the following duties to be undertaken:

  • Support all aspects of work undertaken by the various departments within Adderstone Projects.
  • Gain full working knowledge of electronic systems used by Adderstone Projects staff.
  • Deal with incoming calls in an appropriate and professional manor, by directing them to the relevant person in the department to assist their query.

  • Support the processing of incoming and outgoing mail in both hard and electronic format.
  • Checking of hourly paid timesheets.
  • Material orders and processing.
  • Drawing Management and Document Control.
  • Maintain the office filing/archiving system in both hard and electronic format.
  • PPE Ordering.
  • Meeting minutes and note taking.
  • Booking of training for all APL staff & operatives.
  • Management of training records for all APL staff & operatives.
  • Support the development of new and existing processes.
  • Any other reasonable duties as directed by the Director of Construction and/or Senior Leadership Team.




Required Qualifications, Skills or Experience:


Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Administrative Experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to express solutions and ideas to colleagues and users at all levels.
  • Excellent IT skills & ability, with experience using: email, word processing and an awareness.
  • Good Verbal and Written Communication Skills.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload and demonstrate planning and organisational skills and able to remain calm under pressure.
  • A logical approach to problem solving.
  • Ability to input, extract and interpret information from manual and computerised information sources.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Provide excellent customer focused service that is responsive to customer needs.

Desirable Qualifications/Experience:

  • Level 3/4 qualification relevant to Business Administration.
  • Knowledge or Experience of Construction.
  • Knowledge or Experience of Drawing Management Systems.


Salary dependant on experience.
