Todd Hill Farm is a 55-home affordable housing scheme currently under construction between Consett and Castleside, County Durham, delivered by Adderstone Living on behalf of Castles & Coasts Housing Association (CCHA). The development brings a mix of two and three-bedroom houses alongside two-bedroom bungalows, available across Affordable Rent, Rent to Buy and Shared Ownership tenures.

Part-funded by Homes England, the scheme has been designed to reflect the character of its surroundings, with upgraded public pathways, a new pedestrian crossing and an extensive landscape buffer along the southern boundary to help screen the development from the Grade II-listed Hownsgill Viaduct. Built to high environmental standards, the homes will help reduce carbon emissions and lower residents’ energy bills.

Todd Hill Farm forms part of Adderstone Living’s growing portfolio of affordable housing delivered in partnership with registered providers across the North East. The first homes are expected in late Spring 2027, with final completion on site by 2028.
