Laurel Cove is a 28-home scheme delivered by Adderstone Living on the site of the former Unicorn House office block in North Shields town centre. The development brings a mix of three and four-bedroom houses and one and two-bedroom apartments to Laurel Way, all available through Shared Ownership and Rent to Buy.

The scheme forms part of North Tyneside Council’s North Shields Town Centre Masterplan, transforming a derelict office site that had stood empty for more than seven years into new homes within walking distance of the Fish Quay and riverside. Alongside the build itself, Adderstone Living supported the North Shields mural project, contributing to a neighbourhood people are proud to call home.

Now complete, Laurel Cove was delivered in partnership with Karbon Homes and part-funded through Karbon’s strategic partnership with Homes England.
