Built in 1949 as the main telephone exchange in the area, Jesmond Exchange is now an art deco building offering Brooklyn style loft apartments. 

Located on the edge of the South Jesmond Conservation area, Adderstone Group purchased the telephone exchange building in 2008.

Formally an office block, the building’s first and second floors have been converted into high-end mezzanine apartments totalling 55 beds. A further three large penthouse apartments have been built on the roof of the building to provide 70 beds in total. Ranging from one to six-bed apartments, the apartments at Jesmond Exchange offer a luxury living experience in Jesmond, the most desirable suburb of Newcastle upon Tyne, which is close to the city centre and Newcastle’s two universities.
