Action
In 2023, Adderstone Foundation hosted a private fundraising dinner in support of Homes for Ukraine, bringing together individuals committed to making a direct difference.
The evening featured guest speakers including Major James Hewitt of the MAD Foundation, alongside Gavin and Louisa Dunn, who shared powerful first-hand accounts of the ongoing relief efforts and the realities faced by those affected by the conflict.
The event provided a platform not only to raise funds, but to galvanise support, strengthen partnerships and encourage meaningful contributions towards humanitarian aid.
Impact
The event was a significant success, generating both financial support and essential resources for those on the ground in Ukraine. Attendees donated generously, contributing funds alongside vital supplies such as vitamins and medical provisions.
These resources were transported directly into Ukraine via the Foundation’s dedicated support vehicle, ensuring that aid reached communities quickly and effectively.
By combining fundraising with the delivery of practical, life-supporting supplies, the initiative provided immediate, tangible assistance to those affected by the conflict- demonstrating how collective action can translate into real-world impact when it matters most.
