East Street is a 20-home affordable housing scheme delivered by Adderstone Living in the village of Swinton, near Malton. The development brings a range of one, two, three and four-bedroom houses and bungalows to the village, available across Affordable Rent, Shared Ownership and Rent to Buy tenures.

Every home is fitted with communal solar battery storage, allowing residents to store surplus energy generated by the roof-mounted solar panels for use later on – the first scheme of its kind for delivery partner Karbon Homes. Each property also features air source heat pumps and electric vehicle charging points, with homes designed to achieve an EPC A rating.

East Street reflects Adderstone Living’s focus on bringing high-quality, energy-efficient affordable housing to rural communities often overlooked by larger developments, delivered in partnership with Karbon Homes and part-funded through Karbon’s strategic partnership with Homes England.
