Eskdene Rise is an 86-home affordable housing scheme in Hetton-le-Hole, Sunderland, delivered by Adderstone Living on behalf of Gentoo. The development brings a mix of two, three and four-bedroom houses alongside two-bedroom bungalows and apartments, available across Affordable Rent, Shared Ownership and Rent to Buy tenures.

Each home is built with sustainable technology as standard, including air source heat pumps, photovoltaic panels, smart meters and full-fill cavity wall insulation, alongside electric vehicle charging points. The wider scheme also includes almost 7,000 sq. metres of landscaping and the planting of over 100 trees and more than 2,500 shrubs, reshaping the green space around the development for both new and existing residents.

Eskdene Rise forms part of Adderstone Living’s growing portfolio of affordable housing delivered in partnership with registered providers across the North East, with a gross development value of £16.5m.
