Conversion of a former Victorian Warehouse into 31 luxury apartments and commercial ground floor unit
Waterloo House comprises 31 luxury apartments and a commercial ground floor unit within the building of a former Victorian warehouse located within Newcastle’s theatre village.
Previously occupied by Newcastle’s College of Arts, each apartment in Waterloo House is unique and has been designed to respect and incorporate many of the building’s original features.
Adderstone Group undertook the conversion in 2006 alongside its restoration project in rescuing the adjacent Tyne Theatre, the oldest remaining working Victorian theatre in the world.
The entire development encompassed 30,000 sq. ft of prime and highly desirable city centre space.
