Tilney Smith & Williamson signs deal to move into St Ann’s Quay

Tilney Smith & Williamson (TSW), the leading wealth management and professional services group, has signed a deal for an expanded Newcastle office to help support its continued growth plans for the North East. We are pleased to secure TSW as the newest tenant at St Ann’s Quay.

The brand new office at St Ann’s Quay, which boasts stunning views over the Tyne, will provide more than double the amount of space of Tilney Smith & William’s current Newcastle premises at nearby Quayside House. TSW’s suite will include first-class meeting areas for both clients and staff, provide a contemporary working environment for the 22 people it currently has based in the city, and enable it to keep pace with its ambitious expansion plans.

Since acquiring the 10-story mixed-use building in 2021, Adderstone is currently redeveloping and improving the 32,000 sq. ft of existing office space into state-of-the-art workspace for a range of businesses. TSW, which recently announced that it will re-brand to Evelyn Partners in the summer, will join tenants Lambert Smith Hampton, Knight Frank and Qubic Tax at St Ann’s Quay.

Kate Grant, Director of Estates of Adderstone Group, said: “We are delighted to have secured such a prestigious firm as our client in St Ann’s Quay. This latest leasing deal further cements Newcastle Quayside’s reputation as the premier location in the North East for professional services firms.”

David Smith, Managing Partner of Tilney Smith & Williamson’s Newcastle office, commented: “Our Newcastle office has been growing fast in recent years and with ambitious plans to expand the team further to meet client demand for our services it was essential for us to find bigger premises in the city. The deal we have agreed for new offices at St Ann’s Quay provides first-class facilities for our staff to collaborate and meet with clients in a convenient, central location overlooking the Tyne. We are passionate about working with our clients in the North East, and agreeing terms for St Ann’s Quay reflects our continued commitment to supporting the region’s success.”

We look forward to welcoming the team into their new offices later this year.
