International recruitment company, Drayton, move Newcastle offices to the Wooler Wing at Adderstone Group’s HQ Fleming building in Jesmond.
Drayton Group, founded in 2010 by Directors Rob Seery and Ian Pickett, provide bespoke executive search solutions to the Consumer sector. Operating in Newcastle, London, Edinburgh and Manchester, Drayton’s Newcastle relocation marks the relocation of their Newcastle office to Adderstone’s Fleming building as their new head office.
Adderstone acquired the Grade II former hospital Fleming building in 2019. Comprising 31,000 sq. ft, the building has undergone sensitive refurbishment to provide prime office and leisure space.
The brand new workspace has been constructed with precision to restore the traditional features, including exposed roof trusses throughout the office, and exposed brick walls, blending seamlessly with the surrounding Fleming building.
Speaking about the new space, Rob Seery, Director at Drayton, said: “We have always historically been based in the city centre. However, we have embraced the hybrid ‘home-office’ working model, and Jesmond’s unique offer of easy access to green space, smart shops and cafes, a lively social scene, along with ready access to town was so complimentary”.
Welcoming a new working model is not the only introduction at the Wooler Wing, Ian Pickett, Director at Drayton, said: “We are actively recruiting for our own team so having a fantastic, funky, and start-of-the-art office space is so important”.
Melanie Brown, Commercial Estates Manager at Adderstone Group, said: “We are delighted to welcome Drayton Group into the brand new Wooler Wing office suite here at the Fleming. Drayton’s ongoing growth is impressive, and we are pleased to be part of their success in the North East.”
