Adderstone Group Limited has joined the esteemed list of fastest growing businesses in the North East of England.
Organised by leading law firm Ward Hadaway and backed by The Journal newspaper, the list shows the fastest growing companies in the North East over the last three years and celebrates the achievements of the profitable, privately-owned companies in the region who have grown their turnover by the largest amount in recent years.
This year’s Ward Hadaway North East Fastest 50 spans a wide range of sectors from manufacturers and retailers to construction companies and IT businesses.
Jamie Martin, Managing Partner at Ward Hadaway, said: “We congratulate Adderstone Group and every company in the Ward Hadaway North East Fastest 50 for 2016 for their achievements in making this year’s list.
“The Fastest 50 shows what terrific companies we have in the region and underlines what a great place the North East is to do business.”
Colin Hewitt, Partner and Head of Commercial at Ward Hadaway, said: “It is always a pleasure to announce the companies who have made it into the Fastest 50 and this year is no exception.
“The businesses listed here have all performed superbly to consistently grow their businesses over a number of years whilst remaining profitable.
“They are the real engines helping to fuel economic growth across the region, attracting investment and creating wealth and employment.
“The variety of the companies in this year’s Fastest 50 list again demonstrates what an eclectic economy we have in the North East and how businesses of all kinds can thrive in this region.”
As in previous years, the 2016 Ward Hadaway Fastest 50 has been compiled by independent researchers from St Chad’s College/Durham Business School using publicly available information from Companies House.
Following publication of the full A to Z list, the Fastest 50 Awards will take place at BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art on Friday October 14.
The companies in this list have been selected from the table of fastest growing profit-making, private, regional companies, based on turnover growth.
