Baker's Yard

Baker's Yard is an exciting creative space made up of office, light industrial and warehouse buildings located on the site of the original Greggs Bakery in Gosforth. Throughout 2019 a wide range of independent businesses have moved to Baker's Yard and begun operating from the site, with more to follow in 2020. The full site refurbishment will be complete in 2020 and there is still some commercial space available.

Baker's Yard is an exciting, creative space made up of office, light industrial and storage buildings on the site of the original Greggs Bakery in Gosforth.

Throughout 2019 a wide range of independent businesses began moving their operations to Baker's Yard, with more to follow in 2020.

The site incorporates four main buildings, The Stottie Shed (the original Greggs Bakery), The Confectionery Store, The Chiller and The Pantry which are suitable for a variety of industrial and storage uses. Unit sizes are available from 1,092 sq. ft. up to 20,000 sq. ft. 

The entire site comprises a series of buildings, some interconnected, all of similar construction, steel and concrete frame. External walls with brickwork render. 

Baker's Yard is situated next to Gosforth Industrial Estate which lies to the north east of Gosforth town centre and within easy access both by car and foot of Gosforth High Street, Great North Road. Minutes away are Regent Centre Metro Station and South Gosforth Metro Station, which is located less than 500m from the centre of the site providing regular services towards Newcastle city centre, the Airport and the coast.

Interested parties have the opportunity to have input into the design of their individual units which can be refurbished to their desired specification and to suit the needs of the business. 

A full refurbishment of all units will be completed by 2020.
