Who are we looking for?
We’re seeking an enthusiastic and driven undergraduate studying Construction Management, Project Management, Building Surveying or a related discipline, who is looking to undertake a placement year as part of their degree.
You’ll be organised, commercially aware and eager to develop your skills within a live construction environment. Due to the nature of our projects, you should be detail-oriented, proactive and confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders- from subcontractors and suppliers to senior leaders.
Above all, we’re looking for someone who wants genuine responsibility and exposure. You’ll be keen to understand how technically complex projects are delivered and how commercial and operational decisions directly influence programme, cost and quality outcomes.
Why choose Adderstone Living?
This is an opportunity to gain real-world experience working on residential development projects that contribute to regeneration and housing delivery across the region.
You won’t be confined to observation. Instead, you’ll be embedded within live projects and commercial processes, working closely with experienced project managers, quantity surveyors and development professionals. You’ll gain exposure to the full lifecycle of development projects, from early feasibility and procurement through to delivery and completion.
Most importantly, you’ll see the tangible impact of your work on projects that shape the built environment. Culture matters to us, and we aim to create an environment where people feel trusted, supported and involved.
