Marketing, Business and Real Estate Placement Role

Placement position 2024 – 25 Academic Year

Adderstone Group is looking to recruit students from either a Real Estate, Marketing, or a Business degree course.

Adderstone is private property development and investment business headquartered in Newcastle upon Tyne and have offices in London. Over the past 25 years the team has committed to creating, delivering and managing exceptional places that improve and regenerate areas across the country.

Terms:

–          12 month placement, starting end of summer 2024

–          Full time employment

–          Positions available in Newcastle upon Tyne and London offices

 

Marketing and Social Media

–          Work with web creators and manage updates for Group’s multiple websites

–          Create social media posts, across LinkedIn, Instagram and other relevant portals

–          Assist with creating property brochures and adverts

–          Coordinate property photos, CGIs, floorplans and other marketing material

–          Upload and manage listings on various online sites

–          Receive enquiries and assist with responses

–          Assist with organising events and networking

 

Asset Management

–          Work in a close-knit team to manage Adderstone’s commercial and mixed-use units, communicating professionally with tenants.

–          Assist in managing day to day maintenance in line with the service charges and help oversee larger, one off, works to the assets.

–          Assisting with lease renewals, rent reviews and break clauses.

–          Help monitor lease activities i.e. breaks, rent reviews and lease renewals/expiries

 

Development and investment

–          Assist Development team incl. architects, engineers and other specialists throughout the development and planning process.

–          Assist with appraising developments and compiling comparable evidence.

–          Review floorplans and designs with development team and keep track of the overall evolution of a project.

–          Place orders for materials and tool hire needed throughout the development stage, overseeing the delivery so the project can meet target dates.

–          Assist by keeping records to enable Directors to sign off invoices and raise corresponding digital purchase orders liaising with purchase ledger
