Company Structure

The Adderstone Group is formed of five main divisions:


Property Development Division

Focusing on residential and commercial property development in and around Newcastle for both the investor and owner occupier markets, the Development Division was the original division of the business and, with a current development portfolio valued at over £30 million, is still the most important.


Construction Division

Rather than putting its own construction projects out to tender, Adderstone recognised the many time and cost advantages of having its own in-house construction capability. Today Adderstone's Construction Division is complemented by a partnership arrangement with Brims Construction Ltd.


Property Management Division

This Division handles the letting and day-to-day management of 1,200 individual residential tenancies and dozens of commercial properties owned either by the Adderstone Group, investors or on behalf of independent landlords. With an annual rent roll approaching £10m, Adderstone has established a well deserved reputation as one of the North East's most responsible landlords and managing agents.


Block Management Division

The Block Management Division manages the running and maintenance of blocks of freehold apartments, owned either by property companies, private investors or leaseholder management companies. The department manages more than £50m of assets, with total annual service charges of over £1m.


Trading Division

Working alongside the Property Development Division as well as other local developers, the Trading Division buys residential and commercial property in bulk at discounted prices and sells it on to third party investors. It also helps larger investors build their own property investment portfolios; collectively, these client portfolios are now worth over £100m.


As a clear show of confidence in the markets in which it operates, Adderstone also continues to expand and develop its own property investment portfolio.
