Adderstone Foundation

The Adderstone Group is proud to have established The Adderstone Foundation through which the company supports and provides funds for important charities both locally and abroad on an ongoing basis.

In 2006 for example, The Adderstone Foundation chose to partner the Edinburgh based, international development charity, Global Concerns Trust to support a variety of small scale projects through Global Concerns India.

This charity focuses on the long term education of children in India desperately in need of financial support. Funds have gone towards providing much needed facilities and helping youngsters stay in full time education rather than dropping out to help with domestic work or slipping into the lure of child labour.

The charity also encourages those children who have already dropped out of school to re-enter and stay in mainstream education; giving them vastly improved prospects for the future and helping them appreciate the value of education in the modern world.
